Live Blogging the State Democratic Convention
I know it's been over a week since I last posted anything here at View from the 'Bridge, but I assure you it's not for lack of reason. It has to do with massive stress at work which would be actually quite interesting to discuss here, but due to conflict-of-interest concerns I've said I would not to write about work in much detail on this blog. Hmph.
Any any rate, to make up for a lack of posting while so much has happened in the lead-up to the State Democratic Convention in Worcester this weekend, I will make a groundbreaking pledge to my readers (and to anyone else who happens to stumble across my site). As a delegate to the convention, I will be live-blogging the convention from my new, internet-enabled LG cellular phone. This will include mainly text-based commentary, but assuming I can rig up a system for transmitting photos directly to Blogger, may include a few pictures as well. Look for the live-blogging to begin on Friday if I can get to Worcester in time, but certainly in earnest on Saturday. Of course, I invite you to comment as always, but just be forewarned that I'll unlikely be able to respond due to the limitations of my cellular-based internet access.
I can't promise I'll actually have anything interesting to say, but at the very least I can post funny pictures of the huge thumb muslces I'll likely develop from typing on a small phone all day...
Does anyone know of another blogger who plans to live-blog from the convention? I have a feeling that if I'd been keeping up with Massachusetts Lefty Blogs I'd know, but work-stress has limited even my blog browsing for the past week.
In the mean time, I do have a couple exciting installments of my Cambridge graffiti series coming up. Stay tuned.
