Net Neutrality - WTF?
So I fancy myself a pretty smart guy, and a tuned-in progressive who knows when my first amendment rights are under attack. But lately I've been hearing a lot about this Net Neutrality issue and couldn't quite wrap my head around the whole thing. It must be serious if MoveOn and the Christian Coalition are actually on the same side. Not until I ran across this ninja did it all become clear to me...
Unfortunately, the House killed Net Neutrality last night meaning that if the Senate takes similar action and the President signs it (and when was the last time he didn't do something a large telecom or other corporation wanted) we'll be paying a whole shitload for different types of internet services.
