So It Begins - A Convention Mad House

So I finally made it in to the convention. The security here is ridiculous - not especially secure as it seems to all be run by volunteers who ask for photo id at almost every turn. I had to prove who am when I entered the building, when I signed in with my district teller, and wouldn be surprised if I need to do the same to go to the bathroom! What purpose does it really serve. If terrorists wanted to attack us they wouldn't be detered by needing to show id...

So far nothing to exciting has happened. Just videos from candidates for Secretary of Commonwealth and Lt. Governor. The best part was Deb Goldberg's video where she demonstrated all the jobs she did while growing up at her family's Stop and Shop chain, like sweeping floors and stocking the candy shelf. C'mon Deb, you haven't done any of those things in 30 years and they're certainly no reason anyone is voting for you.

This mobile blogging thing is really tough and my thumbs are already getting tired. Maybe I was being over optimistic...
