Al Gore Storms Cambridge
Last month an effort began here in Cambridge to draft Al Gore to run for President in 2008.
This month, the former Veep himself will be here hocking his wares at the Harvard Bookstore. According to their website, Gore will be at the store on Tuesday, July 18th from noon to 1 pm, signing copies of his new slideshow-turned-movie-turned-book, An Inconvenient Truth. Unfortunately, the real President:
will only be signing copies of this new book. Because of time constraints, he will not be able to sign other books or memorabilia, nor will he be able to pose for photographs.
This being Cambridge, I bet the one-hour book signing won't be enough to meet the demand. You'll probably want to get there early.
However, if you're that excited about Al Gore you should probably take a deep breath and look for someone a bit more pragmatic to run for President in 2008.
