Whatever Works to Prevent Being Towed
I'm a little short on posts this week for a number of reasons, not the least of which was the holiday and the hectic, short work week. So in place of any real commentary, here is a funny picture to ensure there is some activity on my blog.
I found this note on a car near my house on Harvard Street Monday afternoon, which is a regular street cleaning day in my neighborhood (on the first Monday of the month, that is). I guess the owner didn't realize that, although Tuesday was a national holiday, the city was still in business on Monday. This note was her roomates last-ditch effort to prevent the car from being towed:
Apparently it worked. I took this picture at about 3:30 P.M. and street cleaning restrictions end at 2:00 P.M. Although, I wonder how effective this note would've been if not written in cutsey, girly handwritting...
