Kerry Fundraises for Lamont

According to the Hotline On Call blog at the National Journal, our Junior Senator plans to to follow his erstwhile running mate into the Ned Lamont fray with a mass fundraising email to his huge list. Says the Hotline:

The e-mail is entitled "These Candidates Are Working To Stop Bush's Aimless Course In Iraq." Kerry urges the list to "Reward Their Courage" and "Pull Them Through To Victory." Kerry, in the e-mail: "We say America needs candidates who take strong positions and have the courage of their convictions. We've got them. We're searching for leaders who understand that we can't change George Bush and Don Rumsfeld's aimless course in Iraq if we don't stand up in this fall's campaign and demand change. These leaders are standing right in front of us."

More at the Hotline.

It will be interesting to see what effect this email has on the fundraising efforts of Lamont, Daniel Akaka (HI) and Bob Menendez (NJ) who are all endorsed in the message. Apparently, Kerry still has 3 million subscribers -- most of whom presumably donated to his Presidential campaign.

However, I know I unsubscribed months ago. That after nearly two years of not reading and immediately deleting his messages...
