A Real Campaign for Question 3?

If you watch TV at all you’ve undoubtedly seen the fear-mongering ads for Ballot Question 1 which would allow wine sales in grocery stores. Question 2 to allow fusion voting has a less funded, but strong grassroots/union campaign behind it. However, Ballot Question 3 which would allow private childcare workers to bargain collectively with the state, has been virtually absent from public debate. Even a political junkie like myself was surprised that it existed when I received the ballot question booklet in the mail from the Secretary of State’s office.

1020061625.jpgHowever, it looks like there is some semblance of a campaign for Question 2. I spotted this bumpersticker Friday on an electrical box on Washington Street in Chinatown. Oddly there seems to be no disclaimer taking credit for producing the sticker. Besides the fact that this is probably illegal, why are the supporters of this initiative acting so quiet?
